FAIRBANKS, Alaska— A crash between a truck and a small sedan killed two people Wednesday northeast of Fairbanks.
A third person was injured in the afternoon crash on Nordale Road less than a mile south of Chena Hot Springs Road.
Names of the dead and injured were not immediately released as Alaska State Troopers attempted to notify next-of-kin.
Troopers took a call on the crash at 2:17 p.m.
They say one person died in the sedan and one in the truck.
The injured person was rushed to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.
