FLAMING GEYSER STATE PARK — Authorities say one person suffered life-threatening injuries and another person is OK after an inner tube incident on Green River near the Seattle suburb of Auburn.
The King County Sheriff’s Office said on Twitter that the department’s Marine Rescue Unit responded Tuesday afternoon to a report of two juveniles missing in the area of Flaming Geyser State Park.
The sheriff’s office says both were near a bridge and calling for help. Authorities rescued a female and male.
The sheriff’s office says the female was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with life-threatening injuries while the male who was rescued was OK.
