EVERETT — Two people were taken to hospitals Monday after a two-car crash on Evergreen Way in Everett.
The accident occurred around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Evergreen Way and Highway Place, said Everett police officer Aaron Snell.
A teenage boy was in critical condition when he was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The other driver, a 61-year-old woman from Mukilteo, was in serious condition and taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
Both vehicles were passenger cars, Snell said.
The teen was driving northbound; the Mukilteo woman was driving southbound. The collision occurred when her car was turning onto Highway Place.
The police department’s Collision Investigation Unit is working to determine the circumstances of the crash, Snell said.
