SEATTLE — Authorities say an exchange of gunfire in a Seattle shopping center parking lot and a nearby vehicle crash ended with two men shot and two others detained by police.
Seattle Police Department officials said on their blog that police were called to Martin Luther King Jr. Way Wednesday afternoon after two men fired at each other.
Police say one man was struck in the shoulder, was later found at the scene and taken to Harborview Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Detectives believe the other man with a gun fled to a car occupied by two other men which drove away, crashing nearby.
Police say two passengers fled, leaving one seriously-injured man behind. Police say that man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police detained the other two men and gang detectives were investigating.
