SEATTLE — Seattle police say three people were seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver early Sunday following a fight that began on a cruise ship.
Detective Mark Jamieson says a large group of people were involved in the fight, which spilled out onto the street where the boat docked on Lake Union.
He says at one point during the fight, a man got into his car, struck a parked car and then drove recklessly down a street, hitting three pedestrians before driving away.
The pedestrians were taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Correction: An earlier version of this story misidentified the company of the cruise ship on which the fight started. The story is now correct.
