Coast Guard Seaman Nick Libbing graduated in September from basic training at the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, N.J. The 2008 Marysville-Pilchuck High School graduate also studied fire science at Everett Community College. He is the son of Maurice and Gail Libbing of Marysville. He is stationed aboard the Polar Star in Seattle.

Navy Seaman Recruit Phillip LaDouceur, son of Trudy and Michael LaDouceur of Darrington, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. LaDouceur is a 1996 graduate of Darrington High School.

Air National Guard Airman Anthony Morehead graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Morehead is the son of Robert Morehead of Arlington and grandson of Robert Morehead of Klamath Falls, Ore. He is a 2011 graduate of Arlington High School.

Army Pvt. Robert Gildersleeve graduated from the field artillery automated tactical data systems specialist advanced individual training course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Lori Schneider and stepson of Scott Schneider of Monroe. The private is a 2007 graduate of State Street High School, Sedro-Woolley.

Air Force Airman Cody Mazzola graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Mazzola is the son of Sheri Lingenfelter of Snohomish. He is a 2010 graduate of Redmond High School.

Air Force Airman Sean Hall graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Hall is the son of Vanessa Coggins of Everett and Phillip Hall of Arlington. He is a 2010 graduate of Everett High School.

Air Force Airman Robert Johnson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Johnson is the grandson of Tiger Lake of Oak Harbor. He is a 2006 graduate of Morris Area High School, Minn.

Navy Seaman Apprentice Anthony McEntire, son of Tina Long of Coupeville and Earnest McEntire of Bastrop, La., recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Air Force Airman Andrew Adams graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Adams is the son of Eileen Hardesty of Marysville.

Navy Seaman Recruit Boyce King Jr, nephew of Fern Grinde of Lake Stevens, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. King is a 2011 graduate of Granite Falls High School.

Navy Fireman Martin Garcia, son of Alma Acuna and Martin Garcia of Oak Harbor, recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Garcia is a 2011 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.
