EVERETT — The Adopt A Stream Foundation is hosting a concert Saturday to raise funds for its Sustainable Ecosystem Lab.
Classically trained pianist Rose Freeman and violinist Anastasia Allison make up Musical Mountaineers, who will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Northwest Stream Center at the south end of Snohomish County’s McCollum Park, 600 128th St. SE, Everett. The duo plans to bring fellow musicians and friends of the singers for the evening concert.
Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 425-316-8592. Early admission and priority seating tickets are $50, and general admission tickets are $40.
The concert is part of the watershed and wildlife nonprofit’s effort to raise $1.5 million to construct a Sustainable Ecosystem Lab, which will expand upon the organization’s mission of teaching people how to be better land and watershed stewards. So far, the foundation has raised $600,000.
Visitors will be able to learn and interact with solar technology, rain gardens and low-impact development designs, an Adopt a Stream press release stated.
