BURLINGTON — The Washington State Patrol said drunken driving and speed were factors in a collision on Highway 20 near Burlington that killed 73-year-old Gordon Strong of Anacortes.
Troopers said 62-year-old Douglas Horton of Seattle rear-ended Strong’s car Tuesday night at a stop light.
Horton was not injured. He was jailed for investigation of vehicular homicide.
