The Snohomish Health District recognized the city earlier this month for adopting programs and policies that promote public health. The Healthy Communities Award was presented to the Arlington City Council. Lake Stevens, Sultan, Lynnwood and Marysville have similar regulations in terms of tobacco-free parks, but few cities have addressed vapor devices in their policies.
