Pancake feed proceeds to help cancer patient
A pancake feed to raise money for cancer treatment for Everett resident Lesley Meyer is scheduled for Saturday.
The event is scheduled for 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Sunrise View Retirement Villa and Convalescence Center, 2520 Madison St.
Proceeds from the event will go into the Lesley Meyer Cancer Charitable Account at Frontier Bank to be used for chemotherapy and radiation treatments as well as time off from work without pay.

Opening day set for summer farmers market
Opening day for this summer’s downtown Lake Stevens Farmers Market is scheduled for June 5.
The market runs from 5 p.m. to sunset on Thursdays from June through August at North Cove Park, 1812 Main St.
