PULLMAN, Wash. — Pullman police took a baby alligator into protective custody.
Acting on a tip Saturday they found a man trying to sell the 4-month-old, 13-inch-long gator for $350.
Washington law prohibits the sale of such potentially dangerous wild animals.
Officers place the animal in the care of the veterinary school at Washington State University.
