INDEX — The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a New Jersey man who died while BASE jumping at Baring Mountain.
Jeremiah R. Manners, 23, of Bradley Beach, New Jersey, was seen parachuting from a cliff around 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 3, when he hit the side of the mountain and disappeared. A search and rescue helicopter pilot with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office later spotted his parachute.
A small team with Everett Mountain Rescue recovered Manners’ body the next day.
The medical examiner’s office confirmed Manners died of multiple blunt force injuries. His manner of death was determined to be an accident.
