Mill Creek: Student arrested in bomb threat
Police arrested a student Thursday who allegedly threatened to bomb Jackson High School after the school sent him a letter notifying him of his absences.
The man, 18, called the school last month and allegedly said if the letters didn’t stop, he might place explosives at the school, Mill Creek police spokeswoman Becky Erk said. No explosives were found at the school, and no students were evacuated.
Police investigated, then arrested the student on suspicion of threats to bomb. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
