Body found near BNSF rail line in north Everett

EVERETT — Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found by a train crew about 3 p.m. Monday along a stretch of Burlington Northern-Santa Fe rail line in north Everett.

The man’s body was on the ground beneath a bridge that goes over the railroad property in the 3400 block of 15th Street. The man was not struck by a train. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
