Snohomish County voters may have given the Democratic Party a majority in the state House of Representatives, thus breaking a 49-49 logjam that prevented passage of critical legislation this year.
It would be the first time Democrats have controlled the House since the 1994 Republican landslide gave them control of the House and left the Democrats with a slim Senate majority.
