LYNNWOOD — A 14-year-old boy suffered serious injuries Thursday night in a crash east of Lynnwood.
He was a passenger when the driver, 16, reportedly lost control in a corner in the 3300 block of Larch Way, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The car hit a guardrail and went through a fence before coming to a stop.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene around 9 p.m.
Both boys were pulled from the vehicle and transported to Harborview Medical Center. The driver suffered minor injuries.
The sheriff’s office is still working to determine the cause of the collision. Detectives believe speed may have been a factor.
