MALTBY – An angry cabinet shop worker driving a forklift rammed several cars in the shop’s parking lot, then shot and wounded a man this morning, sheriff’s deputies said.
It was unclear what triggered the incident, said Jan Jorgensen, spokeswoman for the Snohomish County sheriff.
The man suspected in the shooting was taken into custody. The victim was in satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with a gunshot wound to the right shoulder, hospital spokeswoman Pam O’Brien said.
Both were employees at Eagle Crest Cabinets, said Darline Bunker, the shop’s human resource manager.
“It was a domestic dispute that happened in our parking lot,” Bunker said.
She said she could not discuss what relationship existed between the suspect and victim.
