EVERETT — A man died Wednesday morning after being struck by a car along Seaway Boulevard.
It happened just before 7 a.m. near the intersection with Boeing Perimeter Road, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
A 56-year-old Edmonds woman was driving northbound in a Chrysler PT Cruiser. The car left the road for an unknown reason and struck the man, who was walking on the shoulder, Snell said.
The woman stayed on the scene and cooperated with detectives. There was no sign of drugs or alcohol being involved, Snell said. She was not arrested while the investigation is ongoing.
The roadway was closed for about three hours.
