SEATTLE — Coast Guard helicopters were busy Sunday helping people in trouble along the Washington coast.
A Dolphin helicopter from Port Angeles hoisted six boaters from a vessel than ran aground in the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Jayhawk helicopters from Astoria, Ore., rescued a 17-year-old boy who fell down a cliff near Ilwaco and picked up a pregnant woman who went into labor on board a vessel 20 miles off the coast of Grays Harbor.
KXRO reports the woman was transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. Officials there say she was released Sunday without giving birth.
