LAKE STEVENS — A cyclist died in a crash in Lake Stevens early Sunday, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
At about 1:30 a.m., deputies were called to 147th Avenue NE and 84th Street NE for a report of a collision involving a bicycle and a vehicle, the sheriff’s office said in a Tweet.
The cyclist, a 22-year-old man, was found dead when authorities arrived at the intersection, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities had not yet publicly identified the cyclist as of 11 a.m. Sunday.
The crash is still under investigation, the sheriff’s office said. No further details were released Sunday morning.
