FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — An 18-year-old was arrested after he allegedly opened a fake medical practice and gave physical exams and medical advice in West Palm Beach, deputies said.
Malachi Love-Robinson was arrested on Tuesday.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Love-Robinson opened a medical office on Congress Avenue sometime before Feb. 4. In an undercover sting, deputies sent in an agent to receive a physical exam and medical advice from Love-Robinson.
After the agent was treated, Love-Robinson was arrested, deputies said.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Love-Robinson was cited by the Florida Department of Health for practicing medicine without a license in October.
The address is registered to New Birth New Life Medical Center and Urgent Care. According to its website, a Dr. Malachi Love-Robinson is listed as the president, founder and CEO.
The website lists the facility as a “holistic and alternative medical care” center.
He is charged with practicing medicine without a license and was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
