LACEY — Thurston County sheriff’s deputies say they’re searching for a man who broke into the home of a 23-year-old woman in Lacey, raped her and stole her car.
The News Tribune of Tacoma reported the attack happened Friday night.
Sgt. Ken Clark said the woman told authorities her dog started barking, and when she let it out, a man wielding a knife forced his way in. He was described as a skinny white male about 5-foot-10, last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants with his face covered by a red handkerchief or bandanna.
He made off with cash and the woman’s pinkish-white 1999 Volkswagen Jetta, license plate AFA5251.
