SEATTLE — Police in Auburn say they’re still looking for Misty Upham.
The 32-year-old Native American actress who had roles in “August: Osage County,” ‘’Frozen River” and “Django Unchained” was reported missing by her family Oct. 6, a day after telling police she was suicidal.
She has been listed as missing in the Washington Crime Information Center database.
Upham’s father, Charles Upham, told KIRO-FM he doesn’t believe his daughter would kill herself, but he says she was upset and erratic and had stopped taking medication for anxiety and bipolar disorder.
The family said Misty Upham had moved to the Seattle area to help care for her father, who is recovering from a stroke. She had been staying a relative’s apartment on the Muckleshoot reservation at Auburn.
