EVERETT — A man was hurt and had to be hospitalized Sunday night after a driver hit him on Broadway Avenue.
The man, in his late 20s, crossed west in the 3700 block of Broadway Avenue where the driver’s vehicle struck him, Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell said. He may have crossed against the light, but the collision is under investigation.
The driver, in his early 30s, stayed at the scene and spoke with police officers.
The pedestrian was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
It was the latest incidence of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian in north Everett. The weather and changing seasons can lessen driver visibility.
“It does seem like a lot of these are occurring in the evening hours, hours of darkness,” Snell said.
