EDMONDS — The Washington State Ferries route between Edmonds and Kingston is back in service after a brief delay.
The agency said Monday afternoon that the disruption was prompted by “operational constraints.” Ferries spokeswoman Marta Coursey said crews had reported issues with the dock and with the rudder of the Walla Walla ferry.
But both issues were quickly resolved and the route was back in service in less than half an hour.
