EVERETT — A young man who police say struck his father during an argument was arrested for investigation of second-degree murder.
Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives on Sunday continued to investigate the death of a man, 50, at his south Everett home early Saturday, sheriff’s Lt. Rodney Rochon said. The man’s son, 20, told detectives he hit his father during an argument. The father reportedly fell down and stopped breathing. He couldn’t be revived.
After interviewing witnesses and serving a search warrant, detectives arrested the man’s son. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on Saturday evening.
