COOS BAY, Ore. — Good Samaritans rescued five people after a boat capsized near Charleston Harbor.
The World newspaper of Coos Bay reported the 13-foot boat overturned Thursday because of heavy winds and strong waves.
The five people on board included four adults and a 2-year-old, who was wearing a life jacket.
They were visiting from Klamath Falls.
The Coast Guard recovered the boat.
