Local reality star on new show

Marysville native Michael Jefferson, 32, has been a Cosmopolitan magazine dateable bachelor and contestant on “Survivor: One World.”
On Sunday, he’ll be on an episode of Discovery Channel’s “Naked and Afraid,” a reality TV show that sends a naked man and woman out in the wild to try to survive for 21 days.
Tune in at 10 p.m. to see him prance around Botswana. Naked. And maybe a little bit afraid.
Read some banned books: Many books that were previously banned are now considered literary classics. Read four of them and discuss their content with others, 10 a.m.-noon Fridays at the Mukilteo Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd. Discussion led by Ginny Enstad.
