Easter is on its way
Submit the details of your community egg hunts, Easter Bunny sightings and more by 9 a.m. Friday, March 19 for The Herald’s annual Easter events calendar. Include times, dates, addresses, costs and contact information.

Grants promote better health: The Marysville Healthy Communities Project is seeking applicants for a grant program. The deadline is March 19.
The Mini-Grants Program funds projects that result in environmental or policy changes with sustainable results that help children live healthier lives. Any school or community organization in the Marysville School District boundaries serving children in first through eighth grades, promoting nutrition or physical activity may apply.
The grant program is funded by the city of Marysville and the YMCA Pioneering Healthy Communities partnership.

Auction proceeds benefit summer country fair: The annual Silvana Fair auction is at 6 p.m. Saturday at Viking Hall, Pioneer Highway, 1331 E. Pioneer Highway, Silvana. Auctioneers this year are George Magnochi and Dave Fenton.
