Swedish hospital seeks old-timers
In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Swedish Medical Center is searching for the oldest person who was born at Swedish.
With more than 200,000 babies born at Swedish since it opened in 1910, and 7,000 each year, there are Swedish babies all around our state and possibly the world. Eligible are people born at Swedish Hospital (Swedish First Hill, Swedish Ballard and Swedish Cherry Hill), Doctors Hospital, Seattle General Hospital, Ballard General Hospital and Providence Seattle Medical Center.
The oldest living Swedish baby will serve as a “spokesbaby” for the anniversary and will receive a two-night prize package to Hotel 1000 in downtown Seattle.
The deadline for the search is Jan 20.
