Join Snohomish County Parks and the city of Lake Stevens on Nov. 15 for an open house to learn more about a skatepark and other improvements planned at Cavelero Hill Park. Learn about light rail: An open house is planned Nov. 15 for the Lynnwood light rail project, which is now in the final design phase. Public input is desired. Music grants available: The Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation is accepting applications for music grants through Nov. 11. Several grants are available for middle and high school students who have financial need, who reside within the Stanwood-Camano School District (including home schools), and who have a demonstrated commitment to the field of music.
