Take a walk: Join Friends of Camano Island Parks on Saturday for a guided walk at Elger Bay Preserve.

Meet at 9:50 a.m. at the junction of Elger Bay Road and Dry Lake Road, just north of the elementary school. The 2.5-mile walk is fairly level and will take about two hours. Wear sturdy shoes or boots. No dogs allowed.

Toys for Tots: Toys for Tots of South Snohomish County is open to toy requests from qualifying families and nonprofits.

The Marysville-based nonprofit’s service area extends from Shoreline to Smokey Point and from Everett to Monroe. Request forms are at everett-wa.toysfortots.org. Military families also are welcome to inquire directly.
