Apply for the boundary review board
Snohomish County is seeking volunteers for two open positions on the Boundary Review Board.
Candidates must live in the county. Board members serve four-year terms. They are not allowed to hold other elected or appointed government positions or jobs. The board resolves disputes between property owners, residents, developers and governmental authorities. In unincorporated areas, the board is the decision-making body for annexation issues. For questions or application materials, contact Pamela Yount, clerk of the board, at 425-388-3445.
Share your Apple Cup memories
The Daily Herald is looking for someone with a unique Apple Cup story to tell. The Cougars and Huskies face off in Pullman on Friday for the storied football rivalry. A couple with a house divided? An inter-generational rivalry? An intense neighborhood tradition? Whatever it is, send it our way! Please send your pitch to zbryan@heraldnet.com before Tuesday. You must have Snohomish County ties and be up for being photographed.
