Apply for art grant
The Everett Cultural Arts Commission is accepting applications for cultural arts grants to pay for art programs and other projects.
The city hopes to foster art for the enjoyment of the entire community. All the projects must take place within Everett city limits and be open to the public.
Anyone may apply for the money, including arts organizations, artists, schools and other groups.
The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Friday.

Caregiver class: “When Mental Health Is An Issue: A Special Program for Family Caregivers” is planned for 9 a.m. Nov. 4 at Merrill Gardens at Mill Creek, 14905 Bothell-Everett Highway in Mill Creek.

Weigh in on storage facility proposal: The public is invited to comment on a proposal to build a 84,575-square-foot self-serve storage facility at 1610 SE Everett Mall Way in Everett.
An environmental checklist, studies and other information necessary to analyze the environmental impacts of the proposal are on file at the city planning department.
