Zazu’s House benefit
A benefit is planned for Zazu’s House at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Tailgators, 1805 Hewitt Ave. in Everett. It costs $14 per person for the silent auction and steak dinner.

Meadowdale history: A Heritage Cottage Chat is planned about Meadowdale by Ray Pennock. It’s planned for 2 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Cottage,19903 Poplar Way in Lynnwood.
Pennock will talk about Meadowdale during the 1920s and ’30s. At one time Meadowdale was expected to be the commercial center of the area. Pennock recalls what it was like growing up close to the waters of Puget Sound.
