Bothell seeks service members
The city of Bothell is seeking people who serve or have served in Iraq and Afghanistan to be honored in the Fourth of July Parade.
The theme for this year’s parade is “Protecting Our Freedom: Recognizing Those Who Serve.”
If you or someone you know from Bothell has served or is serving in either Iraq or Afghanistan, please forward name, rank, branch of service and deployment area to Pat Parkhurst of Bothell Parks and Recreation (pat.parkhurst@ci.bothell.wa.us). If they are currently living in the area, a contact email would also be appreciated.
Bothell’s annual Freedom Festival is a popular tradition and includes not only the Grand Parade through downtown Bothell, but also a parade for children and a pancake breakfast.
