Buckle up the kids
The annual law enforcement “Click It or Ticket” campaign runs Monday through the end of the month. Emphasis patrols will focus on seatbelt use, for children in particular. Not using a seatbelt or a child safety seat is a common factor in child fatalities in car accidents, according to the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
Participating agencies are the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, the Washington State Patrol and the Edmonds, Everett, Lynnwood and Marysville police departments.
