Camano trunk sale
A trunk sale is planned from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot at the Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road on Camano Island. Set-up for vendors is from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Beer and brats will be for sale, too. Proceeds from the trunk sale go to the Second Chance Thrift Shop’s expansion project. Shakespeare in the Park: Last Leaf Productions is scheduled to perform William Shakespeare’s “Love’s Labour’s Lost” at 6 p.m. Saturday at Terrace Park, 809 E. Fifth St. in Arlington. Admission is free.
Darrington celebration: A ribbon-cutting celebration is set for 4 to 8 p.m. Friday on Darrington Street in old town. Activities and games are featured.
See art: The Mill Creek Art Walk is planned from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday with at least 16 merchants in the Town Center area participating. The next art walk is Aug. 11.
Sand sculpting: Edmonds’ annual Sand Sculpting Contest is set for July 20 at Marina Beach, 470 Admiral Way. The amateur contest is free and open to all ages. More info: 425-771-0230.
