Time for Duck Race
The second annual city of Lynnwood Duck Race is planned from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The rubber ducks are dropped in the water slide at the city’s center.
The owners of the first three ducks to cross the finish line will receive summer passes to the Lynnwood Recreation Center.
The motto is “Feeling Lucky? Buy a Ducky!” Ducks are available for $5, or six for $25. All proceeds go to the Recreation Benefit Fund, which provides recreational scholarships for needy children, the disabled and seniors.
Ducks are available for pre-purchase at the front desk of the rec center at 18900 44th Ave. W.
