Marysville’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will be from 10 to 11 a.m. April 4 at Jennings Memorial Park, 6915 Armar Road. More than 12,000 plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes will be hidden around the park. Children up to age 8 can participate in the hunt, other activities and meet the Easter Bunny.
The Easter Egg Hunt coincides with the annual children’s craft fair, running from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Children ages 6-13 can register for a vendor booth to sell crafts.
All participants are asked to bring a canned food item for the Marysville Food Bank. For more information, see the city’s events calendar online at marysvillewa.gov or call the parks and recreation department at 360-363-8400.
Chief to retire: A retirement celebration is planned April 1 for longtime Lake Stevens Fire Chief Dave Lingenfelter. It is set for 2 to 4 p.m at the district’s conference center, 10518 18th St. SE. Potential speakers should call 425-334-3034.
Police station reopens: The Stanwood police station at 8727 271st St. NW reopened Monday after a lengthy remodel.
Fingerprinting is available from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Other services, such as concealed-pistol licenses and prescription drug drop-off, also are provided.
