Coins, stamp show
The Everett Coin Club’s annual Fall Coin and Stamp Show is this weekend.
The free show is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 12810 35th Ave. SE in Everett.
This will be the show’s 49th year.
Raffles with hourly drawings are planned.
Donate winter clothes for kids: Gloves, hats and scarves for local children are being collected in Snohomish.
The clothes will go to children in the Snohomish School District through the Holiday Giving Tree Program and the Snohomish Boys &Girls Club.
Donations can be dropped off through Dec. 9 at the Snohomish Boys &Girls Club, 405 Second St., Snohomish Community Food Bank, 1330 Ferguson Park Road, and Columbia Bank, 167 Lincoln Ave.
Cash donations also are being accepted at the Boys &Girls Club.
Presents collected through the program are distributed to parents on Dec. 16 and 17 at a local fire station.
Work party in Snohomish: People are invited Saturday to help Youth Build Snohomish County clean up the banks of Skykomish River.
Volunteers will meet, rain or shine, at 10 a.m. at the Lewis Street Park Picnic Shelter, 561 S. Lewis St. Monroe.
Cleanup will include the Lewis Street Park, the adjacent Al Borlin Park and the banks of the Skykomish River.
