The Edmonds School District has scheduled its annual information fair for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the new Lynnwood High School, 18218 North Road, Lynnwood.
It’s a chance to learn about kindergarten registration, meet people from their neighborhood elementary, middle and high schools and learn more about districtwide programs and opportunities.
Tour the new high school, meet with school board members and review the health curriculum.
Interpreters will be available for speakers of Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Russian and Ukrainian.

Eat the Elvis sammie: Angel of the Winds Casino is celebrating Elvis’ 75th birthday today.
There will be a lookalike contest from 6 to 10 p.m. and 99-cent peanut butter and banana sandwiches at Katie’s Kitchen at the casino, 3438 Stoluckquamish Place, Arlington, east of I-5 at Exit 210.
Elvis Presley was born in a two-room house in Tupelo, Miss., on Jan. 8, 1935. He died in his home, Graceland, in Memphis, Tenn., on Aug. 16, 1977.
Five hundred Angel employees received Elvis sunglasses they’ll be wearing. And rumor has it an accomplished Elvis impersonator will perform around 9 p.m.
Swing dance Saturday: The Glacier Peak High School Jazz Bands host a swing dance on Saturday.
It’s planned from 6 to 10 p.m. at 7401 144th Place SE, Snohomish.
The cost is $5 at the door. Get a free lesson from 5 to 6 p.m.
