Museum artifact storage needed: Thanks to generous donations from citizens and businesses over the years, the Edmonds Historical Museum has added many family treasures and community artifacts to its collection. While some are on permanent display, most are kept in storage and brought out for special exhibits. As the collection grew, storage of these items became a challenge.
The museum is now asking for help in finding a new storage home. Requirements are 2,000-plus square feet of safe, dry, heated and preferably cool long-term space in south Snohomish County or north King County. Call the museum at 425-774-0900 for information.
New head of HR in Lynnwood: Lori Charles has been named interim human resources director for the city of Lynnwood. Mayor Nicola Smith appointed Charles to the position for one year.
Charles has worked for the city in human resources since 2000. The city also continues to seek a permanent finance director, spokeswoman Julie Moore said Tuesday.
