Veterans dance
The ninth annual USO dance at the Carl Gipson Senior Center in Everett will be held Tuesday from 1-5 p.m. The event will feature music from Route 66, a 16-piece swing band, and displays from the 1940s. The Navy Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) will present the colors. Participants have a chance to refuel with a complimentary lunch and then get back to dancing for the remainder of the afternoon.
Admission is free for all, but a ticket is required for entrance, and all attendees must be over 50. Reservations are recommended, because the space has a maximum capacity of 400.
