It may be time to backdate your wardrobe.
The Snohomish Historical Society plans a vintage clothing sale after cleaning out its museum collection.
The “Step Back in Time” sale will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the Waltz Building, 116 Ave. B in Snohomish.
The sale features shoes, purses, dresses, coats, sweaters and more, some from the 1930s and ’40s, and a lot from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.
And hats. They promise lots of hats.
Healthy mouths to be discussed
The U.S. surgeon general has said you’re not healthy if you don’t have a healthy mouth. In Washington, more than 160,000 seniors over age 65 suffer from often painful, progressive oral disease that is preventable.
Learn about oral health at 11 a.m. Friday at the Snohomish Senior Center, 171 Cypress Ave. in Snohomish.
“Think You’re Healthy? Open Wide and Look Inside” will be offered by Kathy Roumeliotis, a Lynnwood dental hygienist. The public is invited to the free program.
WSU adds new degree programs
If you plan to head east of the mountains for your college education, your choice of degree programs at Washington State University in Pullman just increased by five.
The new programs:
* Bachelor of arts in professional development.
* Bachelor of science in exercise physiology and metabolism.
* Doctor of audiology.
* Doctor of philosophy in criminal justice.
* Master of science in computer engineering.
