Pictures with Santa at Future of Flight

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand for free photos — bring your own camera — from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Future of Flight Aviation Center, 8415 Paine Field Blvd., Mukilteo.

As part of the center’s second anniversary celebration, the center and the Boeing tour will charge half price for each guest who brings a nonperishable food item for Snohomish County’s Food Lifeline. The tour will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Both the Boeing Store and the Future of Flight Store will offer storewide discounts and free gift wrapping.

Hero quilters sew for soldiers again

The Stanwood- Camano Hero Quilters plan to meet for their last sew of the year from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Stanwood Senior Center, 7430 276th St. NW.

Everyone is welcome to attend and help sew quilts for wounded soldiers. The group has 58 quilts in various stages of completion.

Do you have a homemade card featuring a funny family photo? Share it with the world.

E-mail photos or the whole card to jdavis@heraldnet.com; mail them to The Herald, Attn.: Jim Davis, P.O. Box 930, Everett, WA 98206; or deliver them to our office at 1213 California St., Everett.

The cards must be original work and you must be able to ensure they can be reprinted. Include the name of the photographer or artist, a daytime phone number or e-mail address and the names of people pictured. Include a description of the card and what makes the season so special for your family. Deadline is Dec. 20.

Donate cash to flood victims

St. Vincent de Paul stores in Everett, Lynn­wood and Monroe are accepting money to help flood victims in Western Washington.

The Snohomish Society of St. Vincent de Paul Council, based in Everett, is coordinating with four other regional St. Vincent de Paul Councils to provide assistance.
