Street sweepers across the county will be more frequent sights as autumn deepens and trees drop more of their foliage.
Local public works departments also urge residents to do their part to keep nearby storm drains and catch basins clear by raking leaves and disposing of them in yard waste bins or using them for compost. Clogged storm drains can cause local flooding during heavy rains.
