The Granite Falls School District recently honored its first quarter Success in Education award winners, honoring students who “show an understanding of the importance of education and provide a committed, excellent service to other students, staff members or the community.”
Granite Falls High School: Erich Whitley, Luke Macomber and Dayna Strecker
Crossroads: Jordan Trussell and Clay Freeman
Granite Falls Middle School: Nadia Dzhur, Lolly Blaine and Leah Miller
Monte Cristo Elementary: Piper Harless, Aubrey Miltenberger and TJ Hancock
Mountain Way Elementary: Ryder Isdell and Josephine Avila
Employee awards also were given to Laurie Roughton (certificated) and Lisa Smythe-Rodino (classified) for “creating a thoughtful and exemplary learning environment.”
