HAGATNA, Guam — A suspect is in custody following a bomb threat at Guam’s Andersen Air Force Base.
The Air Force says the base stepped up security around 12:30 p.m. today (Guam time; 730 p.m. PDT Wednesday), but had returned to normal operations by 3 p.m.
Explosive ordnance disposal experts investigated the threat before the all-clear was sounded.
The Air Force says the response allowed base officials to isolate the incident and get the base back to normal status quickly.
No other information on the incident was immediately available.
