SEATTLE — The National Weather Service says several inches of rain fell in some parts of Western Washington over the weekend.
Some areas got more than 4 inches in a 48-hour period that ended 1 p.m. Sunday, including near Lilliwaup in the Olympics and near Skokomish on the Hood Canal.
At least 1 inch of rain fell in Seattle and surrounding cities, while Tumwater recorded more than 2 inches of rain in that 48-hour period.
